Welcome to our Game Log !

----------------------------------------------------

SPRING GAME DETAILS

----------------------------------------------------

29 - MAR: (Tie 0-0)

The game against Stronghold Chelsea was well played, we domintated but were unable to find the back of their net. Very good defense, we did not allow any goals. A GOAL SAVED IS LIKE A GOAL SCORED !

22 - MAR: (Win 2-1)

Very good game, POWER went down 0-1 before making it 2-1. Way to go, Boys!!

15 - MAR: (Win 4-3)

First game after the winter against Bridgewater... the boys showed good team spirit and did not give up. After being down 0-1, 1-2, 2-3, they prevailed and won 4-3 !! Way to go, POWER !!! A promising start for what we hope to be a good season against top teams in NJ.

FALL GAME DETAILS

----------------------------------------------------

11 - NOV: (Win 6-4)

BLAST came to Plainsboro, and we played our first game under the lights. BLAST scored 1-0 and the morale went a bit down, but POWER came back quickly to tie the game, and ..well, it was a very dynamic game, offensive on both sides, BLAST really put up a good fight compared the the previous Sunday.

09 - NOV: (Win 6-2)

POWER travelled to Branchburg and over-powered BLAST to remain undefeated, with one game away from the end of the season.

02 - NOV: (Win 2-0)

We went away to Berkeley Heights and played on a small, rough field. POWER showed skill and perseverance and scored two goals to take home another win. The other team only lost 1 game before they played us ... Way To Go EVERYONE !

26 - OCT: (Win 8-0)

Powerful game again, with Power moves, and Power passing and Power goals, POWER really put on a show again and tied their highest score ever. We did not allow any goals, not even when we played with seven players at the end. Everyone put out their best on the field ! ! !

19 - OCT: (Win 3-1)

Another tough Game! Zizo came to the game and POWER put together a Powerful game! This time we got on the board first, and did not allow the other team to take the lead at all. It seemed an easier game than the one last week against NASA, but I think Somerset is a stronger team.

Saturday POWER participated in Spook-A-Rama in No. Brunswick, where we defeared 2 previously undefeated teams ~ one of them being Princeton!

05 - OCT: (Win 4 -3)

This was a very good game to challenge everyone on the team. After taking it easy and going down 1-3 against NASA, POWER had the challenge of the season so far! The boys raised up to the challenge and came back to score 3 goals and win the game. What team work, 4 goals scored by four different players ... and so many more goals saved. NEVER GIVE UP!

04 - OCT: (Win 8 -0)

POWER went away to Clark on Saturday. They showed a lot of skills from training, Zizo would’ve been proud to see them. They proved that they can put a very nice game together, when they want and when the weather cooperates.

28 - SEPT: (Tied 0 - 0)

While a lot of games in the state were canceled because of the weather, POWER went away to Millburn to play on a terrible field, in the rain. POWER dominated the game, and came close numerous times, even hitting the cross-bar using their "power-Kick" ! Way to go to all the players who fought hard not to give any goals away!!

21 - SEPT: (Win 7-0)

Is it that POWER plays better away? It remains to be seen. The team gained a 3-0 advantage at half time against the Wolverines. Flemington did not give up, and POWER had to defend against #23 and #7, the biggest players on the other team. Jack made some outstanding saves to get his first shotout. The game got a little physical at some point, but POWER ended the day with Cup Cakes, celebrating Andrew’s and Sean’s birthday. .... Way to go POWER !!!

14 - SEPT: (Win 5-1)

POWER played their first Home Game against East Brunswick Gladiators. It was a hot, humid day... but it was more the grass that kept POWER from scoring. But it was a matter of time - once they got started they did not look back. Five goals scored by five different players illustrated the Team Effort that was put out on the field !!
