How to Email Families

Below are instructions on how to use the WWPSA email system to email families in your league. There are also links to example emails that you can use and modify as needed.

  1. Log into your WWPSA account.
    Click on the Email Local Member link (or go to https://leagueathletics.com/Cpanel/Members.asp?report=email&org=wwpsa2.org)

  2. Change the following setting:

    1. Member Type to Player to email to the email addresses entered in the player records (the Parent option will email both parents using the emails addresses in the parents records, the All option will email all the parents and players and if they entered the same email address for the parents and players it will result in the family getting multiple emails)

    2. Gender to Male or Female, as applicable for your league (most parents have not entered in a gender so when emailing parents leave this option as All)

    3. In Grade __ to ___ to the appropriate Grades for your league

  3. Pick Youth Recreational Soccer (Pre-K to 12th)… in the Registered in section

  4. Click Find Members

  5. On the next screen you compose your email and can also do the following:

    1. Change the Form and Reply to fields

    2. Click Edit Recipients to edit and view the recipients list

    3. Manually add additional email address in the Add Addresses area

    4. Enter a subject

    5. Attached files by click the Attachment button

    6. Type your message in the message area

    7. Use the Insert Data Fields option to insert data from each families record. This feature allows you to personalize each email.

  6. Click Send to send the email.
